What We Collect

Newsletter Signup

• Email address
• How you heard about AI Law Tracker (dropdown selection)

AI Risk Assessment

• Email address (required to view your risk report)
• Assessment answers: industry, employee count, AI usage areas, geographic scope, governance maturity

Your assessment answers are used in real time to filter relevant bills for your report. They are not stored in our database and are discarded after your report is generated.

Technical Data

• Page views and site usage (via Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics)
• UTM parameters if you arrived from a campaign link (stored in your browser session only, not in our database)
• IP address (used for rate limiting, not stored long-term)

How We Use Your Data

Email address is used to:

• Send you a welcome email when you subscribe
• Send periodic updates about AI legislation relevant to your interests

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

Analytics data is used to:

• Understand which pages and features are most useful
• Improve the site over time
• Measure whether our outreach efforts are working

What We Do NOT Do

• We do not sell your data to third parties
• We do not share your email address with anyone
• We do not use your data for advertising
• We do not use your information to train AI models
• We do not store your assessment answers after generating your report

Cookies

AI Law Tracker uses cookies for:

• Essential: Cloudflare Turnstile (bot protection on forms)
• Analytics: Google Analytics (site usage patterns)

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Data Storage and Security

• Subscriber data is stored in Supabase (hosted in the United States)
• Email communications are processed through Kit and Resend
• All data is transmitted over HTTPS

Your Rights

You can:

• Unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in any email
• Request your data by emailing AI@HarrisonPainter.com
• Request deletion of your subscriber data by contacting us at the same address

We respond to data requests within 30 days.

Children

AI Law Tracker is designed for business professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with an updated date.
